Collagism completed her Bachelor of Multimedia at RMIT in 2004. Her multidisciplinary work has been shown widely around the world. As an artist and producer she has worked with longtime collaborator Adam Milburn on their project Mink Engine which they formed whilst living for several years in Tokyo. Their work has been shown at art institutions, museums and festivals. They have toured the world performing in cities such as Shanghai, Tokyo, London and Berlin. The pair also had their musical and video work shown on national television and played on national radio in Australia. Namely they were regulars on Kiss FM and had music featured on Ministry of Sound Radio.
Holly-Anne relocated to London, UK in 2011 in order to focus on her career as a solo and exhibiting artist. Since then she has created COLLAGISM as a vehicle to explore collage and further her quest to collage the universe. COLLAGISM was an active campaigner for the release of Pussy Riot with her street art campaign of hacked Vogue Covers appearing across London. In 2013 she held a 6 month residency at The Vestibule Gallery on Redchurch St, featuring 6 exhibitions, it was an evolving experiment in collage of all dimensions.
In the final exhibition 'ALIENESE 24 HOUR' every surface of The Vestibule was collaged. It featured a multimedia installation of sound and video art - the ultimate collage reflecting the people, place and time. The residency was Supported and promoted by The Whitechapel Gallery's First Thursday Program. Her show Eggs, Legs and Silk webs was chosen for Time Out London and The Whitechapel Galleries Top 5 exhibitions in summer 2013. Holly-Anne has been exhibiting her work in London, Europe and beyond, in 2014 she had work on display at Tate Britain as part of Source Display ‘Texture and Collage’.
In 2015 COLLAGISM presented a new body of work in a major scale at Scream Gallery in Eastcastle street, London. Following on from the success of the show she spent a month as an artist in residence at Gallery Sensei in Manhattan, New York City. The work she produced was presented in an opening / closing exhibition entitled Sanctum Sanctorum. Following that her work was installed on the streets of New York in the Lower East Side and Brooklyn as a part of the Morgan Walls Project. Most recently COLLAGISM exhibited in Berlin at The Ballery as part of a 10 artist show entitled Adornism.
In 2015 COLLAGISM has created a range of products launched by Scream Creations. Launched with an exhibition in EastCastle Street London by Jamie Wood of Scream Creations.
2016 kicked off with new collage and video work shown at Scream’s group winter show in Eastcastle St London. Following that Collagism exhibited in Maverick Expo on Bowery in NYC. Collagism then in spent a 3 months in Mexico City researching and producing a new body of work inspired by Mexico and it’s rich and vibrant culture. Returning to London she installed the body of work on the streets of Shoreditch in London and area renowned for it’s Street Art Culture.
